National Digital Library of India - North East Regional Centre (NDLI-NERC)

NDLI is a National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) project developed by the IIT Kharagpur under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Presently NDLI is providing 10 crore contents from 630+ content sources which are accessible to all users 24*7 from anywhere using internet connected devices. To outreach grassroots of academic community and educational institutes of North East India, NDLI established NERC at Lakshminath Bezbaroa Central Library, IIT Guwahati in April, 2018.

Total 142 NDLI Users' Awareness Programs

26 offline campus events, 36 webinars, 41events for NDLI Clubs, 37 awareness sessions for NDLI-NERC (Central Library, IIT Guwahati) visitors, 2 other NDLI events. Total participants 11,880+

Bulk Users' Registration from 86 institutes (Previous Method)

NDLI bulk users' registration completed by 86 institutes of NE India (through lists sent from instts.). Total users registered 34,330+. This method is now closed, and replaced by NDLI Club only

Contents Contribution from 17 digital sources

Coordinated for 17 Content partners from NE India and metadata were created by NDLI-NERC. Total contents 19,000+
